Panels

On Sunday 13th, we have organised two interactive panels, featuring some of our invited artists, grouped by city; Amsterdam and London. Each group will talk about their history, their influences, some aspects to their technique, and what their views are regarding the future of visuals, especially with regards to music. To aid them in this, we will supply them with a video beamer, so they can show examples of their work directly from their laptops. The whole things being hosted by Tony Nwachukwu from London. To help us wind down from the early evening on, there will be a live performance by Mode 2, improvising some images on the back wall of the venue as Tony spins some tunes, and we chat, relax, sip drinks, or shake our thing... The following Thursday, May 17th, we shall hold the Berlin panel in the early afternoon, in much the same conditions as Sunday’s. This will be followed, after a short break, by a roundtable discussion. We shall try to cover numerous issues concerning the present and future of music-related graphics, with guest artists, musicians, and representatives of the music industry. Our panels and the roundtable discussion are open to the public, and totally free of charge; the only determining factor being the capacity of our space.
